David Knevitt
David brings world class change and tranformation leadership in banking, payments and information technology backed by over 25 years experience at the helm of the most complex industry programs.
David co-founded Anthemis Edge and has been single-handedly managing all the major transformation initiatives in over three continents whilst building respected relationships with boards and C-level executives globally.
A straight talker with a pragmatic mindset David just gets it done. Conversant on many payment applications, David brings an unparalleled combination of technology and change management. Formerly Head of Global Client Delivery at First Data, he ran a team of over 600 people to deliver all the strategic programs for financial institutions in Europe, Middle-East and Africa, Asia Pacific, Latin America and Canada, including the establishment of the ASEAN business unit in Singapore.
Prior to this, David held executive roles at the Royal Bank of Scotland Group and Westpac and Amdahl Corporation driving multiple transformation programs leveraging his extensive software and hardware engineering background.
Originally from Welkom, South Africa, David now lives in the UK and has been known to swing the occasional golf club.
