Mizelle Tapped to Lead Investor Relations Strategy in North America
New York, NY – October 9, 2018 – Anthemis Group, a venture investment and advisory firm committed to cultivating change in financial services, today announced Johnita Walker Mizelle as Head of Investor Relations and Ecosystem Development for the Americas.
Based in New York, Mizelle will sit within Anthemis Group’s Ecosystem Development team, which focuses on maximizing value for all stakeholders, spanning investors, portfolio companies, advisory clients, and key influencers. In this role, she will develop and execute the firm’s investor relations, capital formation and product development strategies in North America.
Mizelle brings more than 20 years experience in financial services to her role at Anthemis Group. She most recently served as head of business development at LM Capital Group where she oversaw strategic asset growth across the firm’s active credit strategies across all client channels. Her background also includes a variety of investment, business and product development positions at firms such as Lyxor Asset Management, Williams Capital Group and Goldman Sachs.
She received a Bachelor’s from Spelman College as a NASA Scholar and her MBA from Harvard Business School, where she received the Morgan Stanley Fellowship and Dean’s Award. Mizelle also serves as vice chair of The Council of Urban Professionals, whose mission is to inspire, elevate, and empower the next generation of diverse business and civic leaders.
