Following a successful Anthemis trip to Korea, David Sehyeon Baek (Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation) penned an article for the Korea Herald in which he shared Anthemis founder Nadeem Shaik’s advice for growing the Korean fintech arena. Speaking to a select delegation of startup founders, Nadeem offered candid insight on how startups should engage investors. As the article notes, Nadeem flagged to the group the importance of ensuring they convince investors “why the preexisting technology should be replaced by the new technology” as it was essential in framing how their technology fits in the existing financial services sector and beyond.
