Beau Scott

Beau is Chief Operations Officer at Anthemis. His focus is working with the team to help Anthemis run effectively and scale for growth, integrating across business operations & performance, people & culture, technology & network, finance and legal. Beau also works within our Anthemis ecosystem to support the success of our portfolio companies, LPs and partners.

Prior to joining Anthemis, Beau was a Partner with Deloitte Canada, where he helped public and private companies to create and capture value, improve their performance and deliver on their strategies. His experience spans businesses including insurance, B2B services, healthcare and commercial aviation across North America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. He enjoys bringing together diverse perspectives to make connections and uncover solutions to challenging problems and opportunities. With his broader experience in business operating model design, culture transformation and change management, Beau brings a perspective that promotes sustainability of solutions.

Beau holds bachelors degrees in both Commerce and Behavioural Science as well as a Masters in Human Resource Management from Griffith University. Beau is innately curious and an active explorer – whether at home or away he loves discovering new things and experiences – from wandering off the beaten track to experimenting in the kitchen (or on the BBQ).
