Jeremy is an Investment Principal at Anthemis, focused on early and growth stage investments across Europe and North America. He is a former geophysicist and has been a venture investor in Silicon Valley, Berlin, and London. He has a background in deep technology investments spanning construction/built environment, energy, manufacturing, climate and life sciences. He’s particularly keen on these vertical intersections within fintech and insurtech
Prior to Anthemis, Jeremy headed investments at a pre-seed deep tech fund in London and was an early stage investor at Foundamental, a leading global early stage fund based in Berlin focused on construction tech and the built environment. He started his venture career in Silicon Valley at Plug and Play Ventures. Prior to venture, Jeremy was an academic and product manager leading enterprise software product development at a large energy services company, based in the Netherlands.
Jeremy holds a Ph.D in geophysics from Stanford University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
